Board President | Appointed: 2022 – 2025
Kelly Woods joined the Board in November 2022. She’s a native Texan who recently moved to Pittsboro from Dallas. As a believer in how our food choices not only impact our health, but the health of our community, one of the first things she did when she moved here was to become a Chatham Marketplace owner.
Kelly brings to the Board her past experience as a marketing executive in health care cost containment and her current professional passion for supporting Gen X women through midlife transformation. Her interest in food and local food producers was ignited about 15 years ago after reading Nina Planck’s book, Real Food: What to Eat and Why, as well as involvement in the Weston A. Price Foundation’s mission to restore nutrient-dense foods in the modern American diet.
Kelly is also a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach.
