Paul Griswold – Interim General Manager
Paul previously served a very successful term as General Manager of Chatham Marketplace in 2013 and 2014 before moving on to other challenges. We are happy to have Paul back on an interim basis to help move the store back to a healthier financial and operational status. Paul brings 50 years of grocery experience to Chatham Marketplace, and has worked for and with coops for the last 18 years. During his time working with co-ops, he has grown to appreciate them as one of the few truly community grocers left in the country.
Julie My Amani – Bookkeeper
Julie is a long-time member of Chatham Marketplace and was an original employee when it first opened in 2006. She went on to become the Director of Operations at Shakori Hills for a few years, where she founded and still coordinates the Hoppin’ John Fiddlers’ Convention. She is very excited to be the new part-time bookkeeper at Chatham Marketplace, as she loves working with numbers and being part of our hometown co-op!
Morgan Bragg – Operations Manager
Morgan Bragg joined the Chatham Marketplace team in 2012 shortly after moving south from her home state of Wisconsin. Starting in the coffee bar, her chipper persona and quality customer service attracted more regular breakfast customers, and it also brought much needed energy to the Prepared Foods Department. Morgan’s hard work ethic quickly moved her up to management. After spending a period as our kitchen manager, she followed her passion to the Beer, Wine, and Cheese Departments, and now oversees store ops as well.
Brittany Marsh – Grocery Buyer
Scott Every – IT/POS Coordinator
A long time Chatham County resident, business owner, and an original market owner, Scott has taken up our IT duties as of December 2014. A graduate of UNC in computer science, avid linux programmer and database wrangler, Scott also runs the local wireless ISP, Chatham Wireless. He lives with his lovely wife Rachel, their two amazing boys, and five cats in Moncure.
Craig Kolman – Front End Manager
Craig moved to Chapel Hill from Florida a little over two years ago. Truth be told, his professional background is primarily in the realm of books and higher education course materials (high in fiber, though not especially edible), but he looks forward to learning new things every single day from our staff and customers, and to making Pittsboro a healthier and a tastier place to be. If you see him running around the store, he asks that you please don’t hesitate to stop him and let him know what you think is great about Chatham Marketplace and, more importantly, what you think could be improved upon.
Tonya Marsh – Kitchen Supervisor
